Support & feedback
I’m not getting reminders
slotho only asks for notification permission the first time you switch a reminder on in its settings — never at launch. If you declined the prompt back then, go to Settings → Apps → slotho → Notifications, allow them, and flip the reminder toggle again in the app.
The barcode scanner shows a black screen
The camera permission was declined. Go to Settings → Apps → slotho and switch on Camera.
Health shows slotho’s read access as “Required” even though I already answered
That’s Apple’s design, not a bug — iOS hides read-permission status from apps to protect your privacy. You can check what slotho can actually read under Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → slotho.
I can’t delete an entry from History
slotho can only delete Health entries it created itself. Anything logged by the Health app or another app has to be deleted in the app that created it.
Food I logged on my Apple Watch hasn’t appeared
Watch food logs travel through your iPhone. If the phone was out of range, the log is queued and delivered the next time the two connect — nothing is lost, it just isn’t instant.
Where is my data kept?
Your health data lives in Apple Health, on your device. slotho has no account system. Meal plans, favourites and settings sync between your devices through your own iCloud. PRO’s AI features go through a small service red8.io runs on Google Cloud, which keeps only a count against your monthly allowance; the Privacy Policy has the details. When you search for a food, the query goes to the public Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central databases — the lookup itself, nothing about you.
Restoring a purchase
Open the slotho PRO screen in the app and choose Restore Purchases. Subscriptions are tied to your Apple Account, so they carry across your devices.
