slotho 26.5 — PRO's AI, with no key of your own
Until now, slotho’s AI features needed a key of your own from an AI provider. With 26.5, slotho PRO brings its own.
Photograph a meal and slotho lists what is on it. Answer a few questions and it drafts a meal plan or a workout plan. Type a food in your own words and it is read for you. Nothing to sign up for and no key to paste.
Each has an allowance, and you can see it
Every PRO month includes:
- 90 meal photos read
- 30 meal or workout plans drafted
- 180 typed entries read
- 3 customised voice meditations, written from your choices and read in slotho’s own voice
- 46 minutes of your own workout notes voiced, for the Apple Watch to read mid-set
Settings › Intelligence shows what is left of each and the day it resets. Before voicing workout notes, slotho tells you how long they take to say and what that leaves, and asks first — one long workout can use the whole month if that is what you want. Nothing is voiced on its own: turn on Voice My Workout Notes in Settings › Workouts to be asked when you leave a plan, or tap Voice Notes in the plan editor whenever you choose.
A key of your own still works, with no allowance at all, and Apple Intelligence still runs on the iPhone and sends nothing anywhere. One switch in Settings decides which engine runs each feature.
What leaves your phone, and when
Only the thing you asked about: the photo you took, stripped of its location and camera details; the words you typed; or, for plans and meditations, the options you picked — never free text. slotho asks before the first photo and before the first text request, and either can be withdrawn in Settings.

The request goes to a small service red8.io runs on Google Cloud, which checks that the request comes from the slotho app and a current PRO subscription, counts it against your month, and passes it to Google’s Gemini models on Vertex AI. What is kept is the count, keyed by an anonymous App Store transaction number. Your photos and words are not stored, and Google does not use them to train its models.
Guided meditations
Six written practices — body scan, breath focus, loving-kindness, wind-down, stress reset and gratitude — read aloud, with your music or Background Sounds lowered rather than stopped. With PRO they are read in slotho’s own voice. You can also paste any text and have it read to you as a meditation; that one never leaves the iPhone.
You can have a meditation written for you, too: choose the practice, the length, the time of day and how much guidance you want. With PRO it is written and voiced within your allowance; with Apple Intelligence it is written on the iPhone, and with a key of your own it goes to your provider, and either way it is read in the iPhone’s own voice. Every written meditation is kept on the iPhone to play again.

On the Apple Watch

- A new home: today’s rings, one-tap logging and your workouts on three pages.
- Log without opening the app: water, a coffee or a bowel movement from Control Centre, the Action button or the Smart Stack.
- Coach Voice with PRO: sets, rests and countdowns called out as you train.
- Switch workouts mid-session without ending one and starting again.
- Indoor and outdoor walks, runs and rides are separate choices, so an indoor session never runs GPS.
- Your iPhone follows along: a watch workout shows on the Lock Screen and on Today, with pause and end.
Also in 26.5
- Ten more symptoms — headache, fatigue, dizziness, acne, aches, a racing heartbeat, night sweats, sleep changes, vomiting and appetite changes — and a No symptoms today button, so the good days count as evidence too.
- One-tap logging for mood, fullness, drinks and digestion from the Log tab, with your usual choices first.
- The fast you are in, on Today: the stage, how long, and what comes next — and a fasting streak card that says exactly what counts.
- What you ate, in one card: your macros against a reference range for how you eat, and how much of your food was lightly processed.
- Two new insights: days you ate out, and time in daylight from your Apple Watch, set against how you slept and felt.
- Fitness age, from your Apple Watch’s VO₂ max or estimated from how active you are.
- Workout notes, and a notification when you finish that compares the session with your usual.
- Meals and mindful sessions in Calendar, alongside workouts and sleep — still write-only.
- slotho is now in Thai.
What we are not claiming
A meal photo gives an estimate of what is on the plate and roughly how much, for you to check and correct before it is logged. It is not a weighing scale. Fasting stages, fitness age and every insight describe your own data; none of them is medical advice.
slotho supports general wellness. It is not a medical device.
